The Face:

I started creating this look with a pre wash makeup free face

Apply my elf primer over my entire face.

then grab my altair beauty foundation brush and applied over the primer my clinique even better makeup spf 15 in amber 13.  I did not contour but i did highlight using nyx concealer under eye and around my eye brows. I lightly brushed mac skin finish natural powder after that.

The Eyes:  

For the eyes i went simple. A light smokey eye Using my revealed 2 palette from coastal scents.

Eye line above eye is also a coastal scents product in jet black

But i used a different eyeliner with a sharper brush to create the design on the right eye. The wet n wild mega liner in black. I do wish i had used more red eye shadow on the eyebrows. I think i used  the nyx eyebrow kit in dark and red eye shadow fro fash cosmetics. no blush.

The Lips:

For the lips i used hard candy "lip dep" Mix scandalous 592 and night owl 587

This is my Egyptian inspired look that i feel is wearable. i got a lot of complements with this look.  i hope you like it.

Wet n wild matte lipstick review.

Wet N Wild Matte lipstick

I love a good matte lipstick. and i love a matte lipstick that's easy to apply has a bomb pigment color and is affordable. i differently found the treasure. These wet n wild matte lipsticks in cherry picking 965 and cherry bomb 918D. Both colors are rich with color, and last all day. I most differently will be looking into purchasing more shades in the near future.

This morning when i woke up i had a 8 rude comments on my instagram from some obvious unhappy immature young lady. Telling me how fugly she thinks i am.  do you think i care? No!! there's nothing anyone can say to break me. so these are the my words for this girl or anyone else who going to leave me hate comments.

effyourbeautystandars!!!! I love makeup, I love putting it on, i love taking pictures, I love my self inside and out. And i will not stop! I was raise in a home where i was told i was beautiful and to always follow my dreams. I have learn that not everyone is going to support everything you do. But that shouldn't break you or making you feel unworthy. If you love makeup who cares what other people think about it. Do it because it's something you love. I don't need no body telling me what i need to look like or what they feel is beautiful. I am beautiful!

sweet heart if your attentions were to leave me disrespectful comments cause you thought it was going to hurt my feeling. You failed. Normally someone would say they that this negativity makes them stronger. But you failed at that as well. For i am already strong, I stay confident, and your words are just like bubbles. you blew words around, they lasted  all but 5 seconds and pop! that's it, don't even excite anymore. I don't get it. if you didn't like it ,why did you take the time to make comments on not one but 8 pictures. It's as simple as moving onto the next persons page.  No you thought that calling me names and saying all that was going to get under my skin. oh look you failed again. And the only reason i'm taking the time to even knowledge this is because i want anyone who is doing something they love weather it be singing, dancing, makeup, crafting, ect... don't stop just because one person doesn't like it. And for the girl who called me fugly, Go do something better with your time kid. And besides blowing all that dirty dragon breath around, your bubbles will never stay afloat!

You can think whatever you want about what i do. I found love for makeup. my makeup might not be up to yours standard. I can give a f*ck about your standard.  Never said i was a professional. I do it cause i want to ..period. so take a selfie and #effyourbeautystandars  And if you can't love your self how in the hell yo gonna love somebody else. Can i get an amen!

I used y nyx jumbo penil in ilk and a white ye shadow from my fash cosmetics palette. i got the lace from joannas. very cheap. i think i paid a little over 2.00 for like a half yard. it took a while to cut out but worth it.

Wearing these really cool metallic temporary tattoos i purchased at the 99 cent store. Although they are pretty I would not recommend this cheap brand. They pill off easy, stick to each other and leave a ugly glitter mess on your skin that's super hard to get off. Their are many good brands for metallic tattoos. Going to purchase some from amazon. The necklace i'm wearing was 6,99 i got on the discount section at dd's. The earring came fro a thrift store i got for .50 cent. products i'm wearing are as followed

Purchasing foundation.

I love finding name brand products at the dollar tree and .99 cent store. you know that. You just never know what name brand goodies you might find. I personal can use cheaper brands and still make them look good. You don't have to spend 65.00 on foundation. buy the 35.00 one and use a good brush to apply. I even use my finger. that way you can push it into the skin more. Just remember if your going to do that don't drag. pat and press. *wink .To be honest , i do not get foundation from drug stores dollar trees, or 99 cent store. finding a good foundation is really important. IT CAN MAKE OR BREAK YOUR LOOK GIRL! So don't play play... this is real real. lol

 I would really require anyone looking for foundation to go to stores like Sephora or MAC. Sephora has many brands you an sample and a range of different prices from around 20.00 and up. All you have to do is ask an employee that your looking for a foundation, tell them what kind of coverage your looking for, and your price range. I haven't found a single rude unfriendly, or unhelpful employee at Sephora. They are so nice and can really give you great details about each product. plus they can even apply a little on you. but wait they have this little device they use on your skin to find the perfect one. so wait time is no wait time at all. Ever trip i make to Sephora i leave with more samples than items i purchased. lol.

I get samples of liquid lip colors, primers, foundations, ect.... and don't be shy, if your iffy on buying a product. ask them for a sample.  I even had an employee who was so determent not to let me down. she seriously took three colors and mixed them into the shade lip color i was looking for. it's doesn't get any better than that. they go above and beyond.

I purchased it 3 months ago and use it on almost every look i do. Plus i still have half a bottle left. a little goes a long way. I use my altair beauty brush to apply the foundation and it comes out smooth and soft, almost natural. I love how light it feel, it a medium coverage, it doesn't look dry or makes me look pale. will cover dark sports. and no harsh smell. i love it. I paid 27.00. which is a good price for a good foundation.  If you happen to visit stephora ask them about the clinique even better foundation. find your right shade they have a wide range of colors. ask for a sample and do a look at home. don't make any quick decision. The Dollar tree is my go to spot

Sometime i pat my self on the back cause i bargain shop. I love love the dollar tree. Anyone else find great makeup at the dollar tree? hell yeahs man! They have a lot of my favorite brands. I found Milani, elf, la colors, nyc, nyx, and so much more. i love the dollar tree and oh thr 99 cent store. i find like the best lashes. Don't judge me! lol j/k. sometimes i forget how much i'm like my grandmother. I remember when i was like 8 watching and thinking how cool she was. she would sit at her vanity with a face full of makeup rollers in her hair, and these white feather slippers talking on her house phone. I know i have a picture of her like that somewhere. I felt so fishy this day. I think i been watching too much ru pauls drag race. finished season 6 in like 2 days. i always find drag queen to be so glam and fabulous. I think my next inspiration is going to be drag. lol i stay inspired yall. this makup was so simple, i need to remember sometimes little is better..NOT i stay cake face.

So i never thought i coukld pull off glitter and pigments like this. I must say i'm feeling this look.

I'm in love with my b.m.c pigment eye shadow. I finally got around to using some. I purchase then on amazon 3 months ago. beautiful collection so many colors. Wakeup & Makeup

I remember watching sister at 2 when i was a kid and the one thing that i always remembered besides the great music was when sister Mary Clarence told a student about a book she read and how the writer said if you wake up and can only think about writing, then your supposes to be a writer. well that's how i feel about makeup. I think about it before bed, dream about it, and wake up thinking about what creative ways i can express my self this morning. Makeup for me, it not just about looking pretty. And this might sound crazy to some people, but it's a way to lose your self in something. to focus on the now, to take my worries away from all the craziness that surrounds me. Applying my makeup is a time i can be stress free. and yeah i do feel pretty.

I love makeup so much i even put on lipstick before i drink my coffee. just because i love seeing a shade on my coffee cup. Talk about addiction. smh. lol. Few months ago i had a dream about this look. A candy inspired look. I have never been so passionate about a look like this one i wanted to do. i woke up and immediately got my note pad and wrote down what i was going to do. After my kids were off to school boy friend gone to work, house work done. I went in on this look. After i was done and looked at the look, i loved it. it wasn't perfect, it wasn't the best i ever saw, if fact my eyeliner was sloppy, my lipstick was too light, and i sucked at blinding.  but i had did it, i didn't look at someones work, nor did i google it or looked on youtube to see if it's been done. i simply just brought to life the vision i had. It was the first time i believed that makeup was something i could really be good at. Something i wanted to get better at, i was proud of my look. I told my self to keep practicing, keep learning, stay inspired. cause for me. it not about being the best, or competing, or even getting 1,000 likes on instagram. I'm not a professional now, I never went to school for it, i just love playing in makeup.And i think it's ok to still call my self a makeup artist. And since i wake up thinking about it, well then i am.

My makeup is not flawless, and it will never be. I think it would make me unhappy if i tried to be perfect. I just love to be creative, and do what makes me happy It's a lot better today. I have learned to blend, practice with eye liner, and started a lipstick collection cause it's my favorite part of makeup.  Sometime i wake up and say to my self look out the window and find something that inspires me. lol .That probably sounds super cheesy. but i do. i do looks that are inspired by the rain, the woods, fall, summer, my kids, even the color the sky looks like when the sun is rising.

so i just want to put it out there to anyone who is passionate about something. if you wake up in the morning and the only thing you can think about is that, i hope you continue to do it and give your self that title.it's ok.
